Media at large; in general. Media in America and in other parts of the world. A crooked, corrupted, profit-hungry media that has stopped being skeptical of government as a whole and has chosen to participate in only one side of a two-party system -- depending on the network you're watching or the paper you're reading, of course.

It used to be breaking news to catch the government in something crooked. If this were the early '70s, there's no way a politician could get away with a line like "phony scandals," much less POTUS.

And whether a scandal turns out to be "phony" or very real isn't the point. It's the side-choosing going on. All of media remain firmly entrenched in government butt crack. The balance just shifts depending on the party in power.

Citizen journalism isn't even considered journalism. It's considered immoral, unethical spying. And, again, it's party-dependent. Profit media has swallowed citizen journalism.

When it happens to Mitt Romney, some media claims it's a setup and not credible. When it happens to ACORN, some media claims it's edited and illegal.

It's media. And they're enabled by our bitter, bickering asses, at each others' throats about whose ideology is right and who should die a slow, painful death by stoning in the public arena.

It's one side believing the other side is not only wrong, but sinister, treasonous mouth-breathers who want to drag everyone down with them.

We all allowed this by only speaking out against something if it's outside of our own tent.

Now attempting to hold someone accountable warrants severe punishment. And still most of us couldn't be happier as long as we have an enemy to bitch at. Joshhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03970377995219031351noreply@blogger.com
